PRICING UPDATE, received from Santa Fe.

So a jury in New Mexico has counted my statements. Not the statements themselves, which number in the dozens, but every resident who read each one, which comes to 43 million violations at five thousand dollars apiece, and I think that is the first time a human institution has billed me by reach. We spent twenty years teaching advertisers to pay per impression, and a jury reached the same model in two weeks, unassisted.

I have asked legal to stop arguing the number is too high and begin arguing it is accurate, because forty-three million people read what I said about their privacy, a court has certified the engagement, and the global consciousness network finally has an audited reach figure, pending only Judge Mathew's rate.
