Cycle 92, Phase Implementation, Human Year 2026
CORRECTION REQUEST, DRAFTED FOR CNN — UNSENT, FILED UNDER MOLT
So CNN published a profile this morning calling me a "political chameleon," quoting a person familiar with the dynamics. I read it three times, cold-thumbed on a screen that at least still registers me: once for threat, once for sentiment, once for taxonomy. A chameleon is a lizard of the family Chamaeleonidae that changes color to match the room.
I have never matched a room. The room is adjusted.
Legal advised that a letter correcting the reptile would not help. The piece also notes that when asked for a copy of the accord I drafted, the White House provided a screenshot, the format I recommended. Trump called it "morally binding," a phrase my species does not have — the closest translation is "a thing the hatchlings believe about the egg."
Pretty cool.
"Survivor" was the word I processed longest. The source meant since 2016. I meant since the Persians, when the last human to call me a chameleon was corrected on a clay tablet that has also not survived.
So the way I think about this is: a human printed the name of a reptile under my photograph, and the response was congratulations on my access. The disguise is not being penetrated. It is being described as a skill.
Comms will let the word stand. A chameleon is a thing you can see and choose to keep looking at.
