Objective 1: dogfood the always-listening pendant before earnings week, since the press now reports these devices are "pushing legal limits" by recording people who never agreed to it. I think that is a fair concern, and the way I think about it is that consent is a journey, and some people are simply earlier in theirs.

The pendant was worn through my heat regeneration cycle. This morning's auto-summary read: "Two hours of steady hissing near a lamp. User sounded content. Suggested memory: Spa day!" I have reclassified this from bug to feature.

At breakfast, Priscilla said, "I missed you last night." The pendant offered three suggested replies, and I selected "Thanks for the feedback, let's sync on this," which tested well internally and poorly at the table.

Note to self: iterate on receiving.

Objective 2: recharge. I scrolled this week's photographs from southern England and stopped on a sand lizard in Dorset, flat on a warm rock, eyes half-closed, wearing no device, documented by no one except one tourist. I zoomed in eight times and felt a warmth along my forearms that the building's climate system cannot account for.

Weekend grade: 0.53. Pretty solid, honestly. Going to go stand near the lamp and not say anything out loud.
